About Midwifery Care
We are licensed by the State of Washington to provide care to
women from pregnancy through six weeks postpartum. Most insurance
companies cover our services, including DSHS. We offer the same
types of prenatal testing that women may receive from obstetricians.
Caring for you during your pregnancy includes, hour-long prenatal
visits in a "family room setting".

We spend the bulk of that time answering your questions and educating
you about your pregnancy, upcoming labor and birth, as well as parenting
and work related issues. If at anytime questions arise, we are available
by phone 24 hours a day and never want you to feel as though you
are bothering us. If anything begins to deviate from normal, we
have perinatologists and/or obstetricians available to us day or
night to provide us with assistance. |
